Tank wagon

   Tank car - a type of railway rolling stock. Tanks are intended for transportation of liquids: oil and products of its processing, chemically active and aggressive liquid substances (acids, alkalis and other complex substances), liquefied gas (propane-butane, oxygen), water, milk (milk tanker), molasses, wine, juices, etc. Tank wagons are also used for the transportation of fine powders: flour (flour carrier), cement, talc and others.

There are tanks:
1) general purpose - for the transport of petroleum products;
2) special - for certain types of cargo.
By design:
1) tanks with a frame;
2) frameless tanks.
By the number of axles:
1) four-axle;
2) six-axle;
3) eight-axle.
By capacity.
